Department of Accessibility and Support for People with Disabilities (PRO / DDO)

Educational Assistant

We have prepared an Educational Assistant (EA) service for students and PhD students who face difficulties in the process of education. This is the most effective form of help when it comes to taking notes, contacting teachers, dealing with formal matters at the university and moving between the buildings in ordet to get to classes.

The Department of Accessibility and Support for People with Disabilities does not indicate a person to act as an assistant. We recommend choosing he assistant among colleagues from your faculty. If there is a problem with finding a suitable assistant, then we will help you.

Please read the description of the Educational Assistant's description: "Requirements for candidates employed as EA (AON)" only in Polish.

Please inform our Department if you need the educational assistant service.

In order to apply for an Educational Assistant please do the following:

  • download and complete the relevant documents available in the DOWNLOAD tab.
  • document your health difficulties by presenting a disability degree certificate
  • prepare a timetable to calculate the amount of working hours needed
  • deliver the above mentioned documents to our Department, located in building C-13, room 1.09 or send by electronic means in the form of a scan to the following address: asystenci.n@pwr.edu.pl

If you have any questions please contact the Educational Assistants’ Coordinator Ms. Anna Zgrzebnicka at anna.j.zgrzebnicka@pwr.edu.pl

ATTENTION! Students with disabilities and Educational Assistants are not allowed to work together on joint projects and do the same work in laboratories. If assistant is needed during the laboratories, the assistance of a laboratory technician will be provided.
